What happens at a Reiki Treatment?
When you arrive for your Reiki treatment, the room will be ready for you. My qualifications
and insurance certificate will be available for you to see, if you wish. I will also ask for a short medical history, and
description of any current problems.
I will ask you to lie fully clothed on the massage table while I lay my hands on or over your body in a series of pre-determined positions. I will then ask you to roll over, so that I may treat the back as well as the front.
If I am visiting you, I usually bring my massage bed with me. However, if there is no room for the bed, or you are unable to lie down, I can still give you a Reiki treatment if you are sitting or standing.
Treatments usually last an hour of actual healing, plus time before and after the session for talking about Reiki and its effects on you.
